Ok, so I've been here over a month now. Time enough to get my thoughts together and relay a few things about Japan. The teaching's going ok so far, bread comes in packets of 5 slices, and beer comes in litre cans from vending machines. Kobe is a concrete jungle like everywhere else here, but at least its got the hills and the sea as a backdrop. I think I've seen about 0.05% of the place so far; hopefully that'll change.
