Well I`m not in school right now cos theres a huge feckin` typhoon..yatta. Well maybe not yatta cos a lot of people are losing their houses right now. But I`m glad for most of the day off (I actually phoned in this morning to ask was the school closed, they told me to go, and then sent me home after cutting Halloween decorations for an hour). Which is just as well because I`ve caught my first dose of the autumn. Went to Universal Studios Japan on Monday. Was pretty cool. The place wasn`t that packed, waited about 20 or 30 minutes for each attraction. But the space allocated for queues at each ride was huge, I can only imagine how horrible it would be to wait in line for over two hours for a ride that only lasts 2 minutes. The place was far better than Tokyo Disneyland, which seems to have a special place in Japanese peoples hearts, not least most of the women students who come to class. I`d been looking forward to going on the Spiderman 4D ride but it was a bit of a let down. You sit in a car that kinda flies around a set of New York alleys and back streets and end up in front of various movie screens where you watch cut scenes of 3D cartoon spiderman and villians. It was cool but nothing special. There are some pics up which you can find by clicking on the pic below...
