Luminari

Went to see the much fussed over Kobe Luminari this evening. Consisting of a street decorated in ornate lighting and ending in a park where theres a huge display, its to commenorate the earthquake I think. There were huge queues trailing for hundereds of metres to walk through but we decided to walk down a side street, taking a quick short cut and saving ourselfs and hour and a half wait in the process. The hunderds of police waving their glow sticks didn't seem to mind... This week was also Christmas in school and required the construction of paper Christmas trees, stockings and reindeer heads. All very exciting. The lads are flying out as I type and should arrive here tomorrow afternoon sometime. Then on Wednesday its off to Singapore..yatta!
