Japanese Election

So there's going to be a "snap" election in September in Japan, over the privatisation of the Japanese Postal system. Yeah yeah..who cares right? But everyone who goes to live in Japan seems to end up at some time reading this book, and gets a little down about some of Japan's woes; the postal service being part of it. It'll be interesting to see what happens and whether anything will change. Relevent link.
