Space Cadets

Channel 4 in the UK are making a new reality TV show where they'll take a group of happless volunteers train then in how to be an astronaut in russia and the send them into space. The only catch is the whole thing's a fake - they'll be flown around in circles for a few hours initially to make them think they're going to Russia and then will land back in the UK and train in some studio or other complete with Russian language props everywhere and then they'll fake their launch into space. Is that not really really cruel? I'm mean, I liked My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss cos all the "contestants" where ambitious wankers who deserved it all..but praying on peoples dreams of becoming an astronaut is just plain mean.
