In my continuing quest of being eventually able to make my own bread (what?.. I never mentioned this before?), I decided that a first step might be to try and cook, ..or bake..if you will, something that requires that one ingredient that signals that you're actually cooking something - flour. And what better start than to try some of mama internet's own secret recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Alas, things didn't start too well..
After that congealed mess, generation II did improve slightly, with shapes more closely resembling biscuits..
Still these burnt remains of generation II and III weren't fit for human consumption, and slight tweaking of ingredients and large tweakings of oven temperature were required to yield generation IV, which I'm happy to report haven't caused me to double over in pain just yet..
Bring on the bread..
