Ukiyo

Last night we went to Ukiyo (a Japanese restaurant/bar place) for the first time. The closest thing Ireland has to a karaoke box (a little more expensive than Jumbo Karaoke at 25euro an hour) it looks like a nice place with typical Japanese-Irish food (read: very expensive sushi), and since it was also involved in the D.E.A.F. festival (there were supposed to be DJ's playing for the day) I thought it might be a good atmosphere. Unfortunately the DJ playing at the time must have really liked the noise music we heard the previous night cos that was blasting out of speakers all over the relatively small dining area. The whole time a few drunk Irish danced around with their eyes half open, knocking into the tables of people pretending not to see them while they ate. ...we scoffed down our food and left quickly.
