Game & Watch

Prior to seeing this website I had only the vaguest of memories of having had a few Game & Watch's when I was a nipper. Now I know that it wasn't some weird dream and that I really did play Donkey Kong Jr. on a small monochrome LCD screen. And now I can play it again online! Looking at it now I'm amazed it held my attention for more than 10 seconds. I'm sure there was another one involving penguins or something but I couldn't find it here. Seeing the state of handheld games like this back in the early 80's just reminds me what a huge deal it was when the Gameboy came out. Swappable games! Actual pixels! Man how mindblowing was that. via boingboing
