Half Day

Well we bounce from one potential disaster to another here. I got a half day from school today because of another Typhoon. Currently making its way up Japan, they closed the schools after most people cancelled their lessons (I only had two students in one of mine) because usually they shut off the trains if it gets bad. Don`t really know what all the fuss is about. I mean its not even raining here right now..ok so Kobe city centre is flooded and theres thunder and lightning but Glad of the half day too because I was ever so slightly hungover after having a few beers last night with Fern and Jeremy. But my first class of the day was a middle aged lady who comes from private lessons quite frequently, takes hundereds of lessons and, bless her heart, just doesn`t improve. But she gave me a whole bottle of sake as a thank you or something...which was nice. still....
