Ravenous Pigeon Digest

Saw the village last night in Umeda (in a much nicer place than Toho Plex, in the Ema building) - still trying to make up my mind about it. I didn`t guess the twists (even though the first one was pretty bog standard) but its definetly a case of the more you think about it the less plausible and thus more crappy the premise becomes. But sher jaysus it was still pretty good.

I was kinda hoping to apply for the Japanese Language Proficiency test in December. There are four levels you can take (starting from piss easy) and I was hoping that, having applied to take one, I`d get my arse in gear and do some study. But I went to get the application form yesterday in one of the main book shops and the deadline for receipt of applications was today. I don`t know why they still had them on display if you couldn`t even feckin apply. It only comes around once a year too...shag.

Had one interesting new student this week, a young girl who said her job was being a race queen. "What the feck`s that!?", I said in not so many words. Turns out she`s one of the beauties who hold the parasols above the drivers before the start of grand prix races. She does lots of motorbike stuff and gets on tv all the time...class.

And if I`m not mistaken its almost started to cool down here..
