Metro again..

Ya know the metro that is supposed to be built under Dublin? Going from the city centre out to the airport? Ya know, the once that was announced two years ago but actually nothing has been done about. Ya know, the one that has less chance of actually being built than I have of becoming the next Miss World? Well someone up in Bureaucracy Central has posted up some powerpoint about construction progress and it includes some sketches of what the stations will/might look like. I'd already read that to cut back on costs the station design is going to be the bare minimum (no ticket gates, bare concrete walls) removing any chance of some impressive architectural design, like in London or Sweden or Singapore or Washington or... That being said I'll still be amazed if the construct something resembling the drawings below before I'm in my 40's.. via Archiseek
