My last morning before my flight in the evening to Australia, I was able to check in bag and get my seat from the city centre train station, leaving me the rest of the afternoon without the hassle of having to be at the airport super early. Convenient enough but I think I'd stayed too long already as I couldn't think of anything interesting to do. I did at one stage come across a group of people looking up in the sky and when I saw what they were looking at it appeared to be some guy dangling out the window of the Four Seasons hotel, about 30 floors up. Dangling that is, until he started to climb again. Turned out "Spiderman" was in town and I guess he found himself with a little extra time to scale the hotel. I watched for a while but it was slow progress and I really didn't want to see him slip and fall.

In the evening got the special train to the airport, looked around for souvenirs that wouldn't be confiscated by Australian quarantine and left on time. Looking forward to lots of legroom I was not surprised to find that my exit row seat had no leg room because the feckin door bulged out right in front of the seat. Luckily there was no one sitting next to me and I managed squash myself in such a way I could fall asleep for a few hours.

Visa control went pretty fast, I wasn't arrested for anything, and only a few of my souvenirs were thrown in the bin by the police. Now I'm in Sydney.
